WAMA’s reunion album to be released

Following years of solo albums by its 4 members, WAMA – an initialism for their first names – will come together one more time in concert plus an album.

According to band member singer Ahmed Elshami, the band has actually broken up, saying record companies and rumormongers tried to create a strife within the band, aiming at its eventual collapse.

Elshami, who is getting ready for another movie, Ahla Sohba, by scriptwriter Ahmed Elbeih – who also wrote El Academiya which co-starred Elshami and received harsh negative reviews – says the band will be soon
